Brandon Hulings is a 2010 OF/MIF with a 5'9'', 140 lb. frame from Houston, Texas, who attends Memorial High School. Hulings is only a 2010 graduate. He has a lean and projectable frame with projection. Defensively he has a slinging arm action from outfield. He gets better velocity and carry when he stays on top of the ball and staying more online. Hulings reads the ball off the bat showing good reactions. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an upright stance. He takes a short stride and stays balanced through his swing. Hulings is a contact hitter with a line drive swing plane who consistently puts the ball in play. He shows bat speed through the hitting zone with a short and compact swing. Once on the bases he has instincts and the ability to take the extra base. Hulings is a young player with a lot of baseball yet to play.
