Frederick De La Rosa is a 2022 MIF/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends World View High School. De La Rosa works out of a medium build with strength present. From his primary MIF spot, he showcased a full arm action carrying momentum through the ball well and releasing from a higher slot to ultimately top out at 78 mph across the diamond. De La Rosa also worked from the OF where he used a quicker compact arm action with some smoothness to the transfers up to 82 mph. At the plate, the righty used a closed stance and toe tap trigger to generate some line drive contact with evident backspin on the baseball. He flashed consistent bat speed with strength at impact, posting an exit velo of 84 mph. Ran a 7.56 sixty yard dash. Good student.
