2004 World Showcase
Cason is a loose armed right hander with a very nice, projectable 6-3, 180 lb frame. He threw his fastball up to 84 mph at the World Showcase with some good running action to it and complimented his fastball with a 62-65 mph curveball that had tight rotation and bite to it. Cason’s delivery lacks fluidity at the moment and a little simpler approach would probably benefit both his raw stuff and his command of the strike zone. Devon has a chance to develop into a 90 + guy at the next level. He's a good student and a good athlete.
