2006 National Underclass Showcase
Danny Vazquez is a 2008 OF that attends Christopher Columbus HS and resides in Miami, FL with a 6'0", 165 lb. frame. Danny has an athletic build and performed very well in the workout. At the plate Danny has a good approach with a line-drive swing plane. He has good strength in his swing but tends to swing around the ball a little too often. Danny will need to work on keeping his weight back and keeping his front side on the ball longer. In the outfield Danny has easy actions with good range and a solid arm. He could project at any of the outfield positions. Danny is a solid student that will attract the attention of many mid-level college programs.
