Hartweck is a strong, physically mature young man with a good power/speed combination. He generates good bat speed from the right side of the plate with a fundamentally sound, level swing. Hartweck’s approach is towards the middle of the field right now but he projects to add some power if he can get some more extension. Hartweck is a 6.92 runner in the 60 and looks like a hustling, alert type of player who likes using his speed. He’s a good defensive outfielder because of his speed and approach to the game and throws pretty well, too. Drew has high level ability and needs to be followed closely.
