Alex St. Pierre is a 2007 RHP/1B with a 6'1'', 185 lb. frame from Laguna Hills CA, who attends Laguna Hills. St. Pierre has a durable frame with a strong body. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot and uses a good clean arm action. St. Pierre has good arm speed and has minimal effort through his delivery. He stays balanced through his delivery and throws across his body slightly. He was around the plate for his 3 innings pitched and only allowed 1 hit. St. Pierre throws an 11/5 curveball and it got sharper the longer he pitched. He also throws a solid straight changeup. At the plate, St. Pierre swings from a wide stance and uses a short stride. He has a good swing path to the baseball with raw power. The ball jumps off his bat and can really drive the ball. His swing is nice and fluid and has good strength in his wrists. St. Pierre is a very good student.
