Tyler Faust is a 2026 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from North Huntingdon, PA who attends Norwin. Lean, athletic frame with longer levers and projection remaining. Primary third baseman, worked through the baseball with urgency and clean footwork. Has a good internal clock with softness in the hands. Showcased plenty of lateral range and arm speed. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 85 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, operates from a quick-paced abbreviated wind-up. Side-steps into a chest-high leg lift. Breaks the hands aggressively and pulls down hard into release. Fastball showed life out of the hand with some arm-side run, ultimately peaking at 85 mph with spin up to 2124 rpm. Slider showed sharp horizontal break with some late depth; commanded it well on the outer-half of the strike zone. Also flashed a bigger 12-6 curveball and a low-70s fading changeup that killed tons of spin. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider stance with a high back elbow and compact high hand set-up. Utilizes a low leg lift trigger for timing before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Takes an aggressive turn to the point of contact, shifting his weight efficiently. Creates extension through the strike zone, impacting the baseball out in front. Produced consistently loud contact to the pull-side during his batting practice round. Posted an exit velocity of 90 mph. Ran a 3.90 thirty-yard dash. Great student. Named to the 2024 New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday) Top Prospect List.
