Eric Heath is a 2006 outfielder from Kell High School in Acworth, Georgia, with a 5'9'', 160 lb. frame. Heath is a very good defensive player who shortens the distance on ground balls in the outfield well. His throws were online with good carry and accuracy at 83 mph. He plays defense with an aggressiveness and plays hard. At the plate the right handed hitter uses an inside out swing to make solid contact. Heath shows solid bat speed and stays balanced through his swing. He is a contact hitter that can be a table setter at the next level. On the bases he showed the same good first step quickness that he does in the outfield with good instincts. Heath is also a very good student.
