Lassiter is a big 6'3/190 RHP who looked good taking BP. He has a good swing with serious bat speed. Shows power potential. Runs OK and shows athletic ability. On the mound he threw mid 80s, but we would bet he's thrown better. His arm works good out of a 3/4 arm angle. His breaking ball shows promise with good rotation, but it needs to be thrown harder than the 66 mph we saw in Ft Myers. Lassiter's best years are ahead of him. He has the body and ability to really develop at the next level. Don't be surprised if he becomes a good draft pick out of college.
