Lucas Musser is a 2026 C/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Peru, IN who attends Peru. Primary catcher with a physical build. High side setup with good online footwork. Pops up out of the crouch athletically and gains some ground through the plate well. Throws from the ear with shorter arm action and some quickness. Has a quick transfer and release. Just needed to be more accurate around the bag. Ran a 7.44 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base. Rocks back into the load and transfers the weight well. Fires off his back side nicely and can clear the hips. Produces plenty of bat speed with strength in the hands. Swing will get long at times but power projects well. Can impact the ball when he's on time and on plane. Needs to straighten out at the top half things and gets stiff. Power does project well.
