Matthew Brown has a quiet approach at the plate and showed that he is a line drive hitter. He barely strides and showed a strong bat. He ran an ok sixty on a slow track for a catcher and defensively he showed a pop time in the workout under two seconds. He could improve his arm strength to raise his stock but had a solid performance. He has some athletic ability.
