Cole Bobbin is a 2027 RHP/3B/SS with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO. Thin, athletic build at present that projects well with additional size that will naturally come with age. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, showed solid lateral ability, lower slot on the throws across, athletic look and feel to it with a natural look to the overall actions and process, solid arm up to 81-mph across, developing feel for the backhand, nice throw on the run to end the round as well. Secondary right-handed pitcher, long levers and high waist stand out on the bump, full windup from the middle of the rubber, sidestep to belt high leg lift, deep arm plunge in the back before coming through at a higher three quarter slot, inconsistent release point at times, varied shape on the fastball with cut and sink up to 77-mph. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance, gets the barrel out front to produce pull side line drive contact, lower hand set, nice rhythm and fluidity to the process, creates separation, repeats the stroke well and found consistent results in batting practice. Projectable athlete with good actions for the size and solid fundamental ability in every facet of the game. Named to the 2023 13U/14U Sunshine Rocky Mountain Top Prospect List.
