Frank Compagnone is a 2005 outfielder and right handed pitcher with a 6'3" 185 pound frame from Oviedo, Florida. He has a great athletic body that is very lengthy and strong. Frank is coming off of a major arm surgery and showed that he is completely recovered and healthy. He showed why he was a big prospect before he got injured. At the plate, he has tremendous bat speed. The ball jumps very hard off his bat and he squares it up very well. He has big time power potential and should improve on that the more he hits. Compagnone is a very good outfielder as well. He is very polished and showed an outstanding arm by throwing 85 mph during the workout with excellent carry. Frank is a big time player who should help out any school next year.

Frank Compagnone is a lean projectable 6'2/170 OF/RHP from Winter Springs, FL. He is a legitimate 2-way highest level college prospect with draftable hitting ability and arm strength. He runs well enough for corner positions at 7.17 in the 60. His arm strength is MLB caliber from the OF. He has really come on strong with the bat showing good raw bat speed, consistent centering ability and very interesting serious power potential. On the mound he showed a good live sinking 86 mph FB and a sharp CB. If he continues to pitch, he will end up throwing 90 or better. His arm works very well. Frank is a good student.

Frank Compagnone is a 2005 P/OF from Winter Springs, FL. Frank has really improved across the board since the last time we saw him and is now an excellent DI prospect with some pro level tools. Compagnone has grown to 6'3", 175 lbs., and has plenty of room to get stronger. Compagnone’s swing is a bit long in the back and he has some excess hand action, but he generates very good bat speed through the zone and the ball explodes off his bat. He had a couple of extra base hits in game competition and crushed a couple more in batting practice. Defensively, Compagnone doesn’t have the speed to play center at the upper levels, but has solid defensive instincts and well above average arm strength. Compagnone has limited pitching experience but really impressed us in a bullpen after the event ended. He was solidly 85-86 mph with a sharp curveball that topped out at 73 mph. Compagnone has a tall delivery and a long, full arm arc and generates very good arm speed. He looks like a young pitching prospect who could be touching the low 90’s with some more physical maturity and some more experience on the hill. We also think that this is a young man who is going to max out his tools. He’s a very hard worker with an engaging personality. We invited him to the PG national.

Frank Compagnone--Compagnone is a junior outfielder from Florida who we've seen at a number of WWBA events. He has an athletic 6-1 frame that has some goog strength to it. Compagnone is a very aggressive hitter with an attacking, pull oriented approach. Throw him on the inside half and he's going to crush it or come out of his shoes trying. Compagnone generates very good bat speed that's going to translate very well at the next level. He had three hits during games in Fort Myers and took an excellent batting practice.Compagnone isn't a primary pitcher but showed some very interesting things during a 2 inning outing on the mound. He has a ong, somewhat slinging arm action with good arm speed and threw his fastball up to 84 mph with late running life. He also threw 86 mph from the outfield. Compagnone had a 69 mph curveball that had nasty biting action occasionally and he did a good job of throwing it for strikes. He definitely has some potential on the mound as well as in the outfield. He's going to create a lot of interest.
