Spencer Bingham is a 2008 C/OF with a 5'11'', 195 lb. frame from Fayetteville, AR who attends Shiloh Christian. Spencer has an average build with some present strength. He has good footwork and a quick release from behind the plate, turning in a solid 1.97 pop time. His arm had some carry with a top velocity of 72 mph from the catching position. His mechanics are a little jerky at times, but he smoothed them out with each throw. He hits from a high hand set and a low crouched stance and has a good approach at the plate. He shows pop, and looks to pull the ball on the inner half. He overstrides and gets a little long with his swing at times, but he makes a lot of consistent solid contact when he stays short and compact with his swing. He hustles and has good instincts on the bases.
