Garrett Argyle is a 2006 outfielder from Timpanogos HS in Orem, Utah, with a 6'4", 180 lb. frame. Argyle is a projectable body and is lean and athletic. He has good speed with a nice first step on the bases and in the field. Defensively he has very good range and glides to balls in the gap that you don't think will be got, but he does. Argyle has solid arm strength with solid carry on his throws, and his best throws were to the plate. At the plate he is a left handed hitter with good bat speed from an open stance. He is aggressive at the plate with a compact swing. Argyle has a good weight shift, but he tries to inside out too many pitches. He has the bat speed and size to turn on balls and hit them with authority. Argyle is an advanced defensive outfielder with good hitting tools. He is also a very good student.
