Banks is a lefty who can pitch. His velocity in Lincoln was in the lower 80s, but his pitch-ability grades high. While the fastball didn't show plus velocity, it did run and sink at times. His curveball was in the lower 70s with good biting action. He appears to be a tough pitcher who likes to compete. He's not the biggest guy out there, but he could become a very productive college pitcher at a high level. He knows what he's doing on the mound. Garrett is a good student.
