Tyler Adams is a 2009 MIF/3B with a 5'9'', 150 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Sprayberry HS. He has a smaller frame with some present strength. Adams is a very smooth defensive player with good lower half fundamentals and soft, sure hands. He charges the ball very well and has the ability to get throws off quickly from different arm angles quickly. He looks ideal for second base. Offensively, Adams has an aggressive approach at the plate and takes a hard swing while keeping his swing short to the ball. He has some raw bat speed and the ball comes off his bat pretty well. Adams has very good balance at contact, which enables him to square up solidly and shoot the ball to the gaps. He's a nice looking young infielder who has the ability to play at the next level and looks like he has the desire as well.
