2009 Northwest Top Prospect Showcase
Victor King is a 2010 OF/P with a 6'4'', 185 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Newport. Very tall and projectable build, wiry strength, trim waist. Showed good outfield actions, positioning himself well, good body control and takes himself to the ball well, gets behind the ball and comes through on throws, has good arm strength. Shows lift and leverage at the plate, and generates much of it from his large frame, he has a pull oriented approach and can drive the ball that way. Looks even bigger on the mound, ball comes out of his hand well, mixes in a SL that shows good sweep and a developing straight CH. Good student.
