Albert Alvarez is a 2009 MIF with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Temecula Valley. Albert has a lean athletic build and has smooth fielding actions in the infield, but some effort on the throws. At the plate he shows a nice line drive swing plane with good swing mechanics. He is short to the ball and uses all fields. He finds the barrel and his bat projects as he adds strength. He has good speed and uses it well on the bases. Albert is also a good student.
