Ford is a right handed hitting outfielder from New Hampshire with a strong 6-0, 185 lb build. He has a compact stroke with some good bat quickness and hit a number of balls hard up the middle and to right field. Ford really doesn’t look to pull the ball at this point and keeps his lower half pretty closed through contact, but he has the strength to add some power to his game with a slightly different approach. Ford showed us a solid MLB right field arm during the workout, registering 89 mph on the gun and it would be interesting to see him take a turn on the mound. He’s a 7.21 runner in the 60 and a good athlete.
