Blake Prince is a 2008 1B/P with a 6'0'', 215 lb. frame from Garland, TX who attends Naaman Forest. Blake has a thick build with present strength throughout. He has a wide open stance at the plate and he stays open on his stride. He has an aggressive swing with bat speed, and has pop and the ability to drive the ball to left and left center field. Defensively he has good footwork and good range and moves around the bag well. He is a good receiver of the ball, and can scoop the ball well. On the mound Prince throws from an over the top arm slot with good tempo and good command. He has good balance through his motion and has good arm action. He throws a lot of strikes and commands his pitches well. Blake is also a good student.
