Richard Krepps is a 2008 RHP/OF with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Thomson, GA who attends Thomson HS. Richard has a solid athletic frame with some present and developing strength. On the mound he throws from an over the top arm slot, and is deceptive with his delivery. The ball gets on the hitter quick, and he is effective moving the ball around in the zone as well as utilizing his offspeed pitches. He shows good ride on his splitfinger, and features a solid curveball that shows hard action at times. He is consistent with his armspeed across all of his pitches. Offensively he hits from a spread stance and has a no stride approach with strength in his swing. His swing plane produces some solid contact, and good contact through the middle of the field. Richard is also an excellent student.
