2003 Northeast Underclass Showcase
Brixey is a left-hander who showed good pitchability on the mound and a potent bat too. He has a small frame that generates a lot of power. He is a strong athletic already and we think he could develop into an excellent player at the next level. On the mound, his fastball was right at 74-75 mph and he showed 2 speeds with the breaking pitch. The Slider is the one we liked best at 68-70 mph and his curve, although it showed a fast spin, he threw it with a slower delivery. An easy adjustment that could make it his 3rd pitch. He showed well with the bat too displaying multiple hard hits and some power. He is a good left-handed hitter. He was selected to the Top Prospect team. Andrew is an excellent student.
