Stephan Kungl is a 2008 3B/P with a 6'2'', 190 lb. frame from Anaheim CA, who attends Katella. Kungl has a taller body with a strong solid build. Defensively, Kungl has nice hands and moves to the ball well. He has arm strength with some carry on his throws across the diamond. At the plate, Kungl has an aggressive swing and attacks the strike zone well. He has some length to his swing with bat speed. He has present gap to gap pop with more power potential. Kungl pitches from a 3/4 arm slot and has a good arm action. He has arm speed and pitches with easy effort. Kungl has solid mechanics and keeps the ball down consistently. He has good command of the strike zone. Very good student.
