Farr is a very slender 6-0 left handed pitcher from Florida whose tools will really benefit from added strength and physical maturity. He throws from a high ¾’s arm slot and flies open some on his release. Farr has good flexibility in his arm stroke and his athletic actions. His fastball was mostly 77-78 mph during his four innings of work. Farr’s curveball had a short break at 62-65 mph and he also showed a 72 mph change up. Farr has some idea on what he’s doing and showed nice pitchability and some control of the strike zone. He is a good student.
