Travis Green is a 2010 OF with a 5'9'', 155 lb. frame from Houston, Texas, who attends Memorial High School. Green has good present strength for his age, and he is a very young (2010) player. Defensively he is fundamentally sound from the outfield showing projectable arm strength. His throws were already in the upper 70s with good online carry. He has a chance to be a good defensive outfielder. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an open stance. Green uses a quiet approach with a compact swing. He is a line drive hitter who centers the ball well, and has the ability to hit to all fields. Green shows solid bat speed through the hitting zone that will only get better as he matures. Once on the bases he runs well showing quickness and instincts. He is a hustle type player, and he is a young player with upside.
