Jonathan Egan is a big country strong 6'4/215 catcher from Hephzibah, GA. Egan might be the top prep catching prospect in the country after his early summer performances. He’s added strength and extension to his swing during the past six months and has shown plus, plus MLB power in games and batting practice. Egan is reaching the top ends of the size spectrum for catchers at 6-4, 215 lbs but moves and throws very well. He shows MLB arm strength and quickness along with an advanced receiving ability.
