2004 Underclass National Showcase
Jordan Wormsley -- Wormsley is a left handed hitting sophomore outfielder from Tennessee who impressed us with his projectable tools. He has a slender lean 6-0 body that has plenty of room to get stronger. Wormsley took a very good batting practice, showing a loose, fundamentally sound swing with excellent swing plane and projectable bat speed. This looks like a young man who has a chance to hit big down the road once he’s improved his hand and upper body strength. Wormsley also pitched and showed good left handed arm strength. His fastball topped out at 81 from the hill after hitting 84 mph from the outfield. He runs OK and probably profiles best in right field for now. Jordan is a good student.
