Joseph Roberto is a 2006 right handed pitcher/middle infielder from Danvers, MA, with a 5'11" frame. On the mound, he throws his 82 mph tailing fastball from a ¾ arm slot. He also throws a 69 mph 10-4 curveball with good break and good control. Roberto throws both pitches consistently for strikes, and showed good command of the strike zone. Offensively, he hits from an open stance with a small leg kick. He doesn’t get cheated at the plate with his aggressive downward swing plane. In batting practice and in the games, he showed good pull power.
