Josh Wisnoski is a strong bodied 6'2/220 2005 third baseman from Navasota, TX, with a little upper body stiffness, perhaps from weight lifting. During batting practice, Wisnoski had a short rotational swing that didn’t do justice to his strength, but he swung the bat much better against live pitching, hitting the ball hard all but one time at the plate. He has the chance to improve a lot as a hitter and he's a good hitter now. Defensively, Wisnoski’s feet worked very well and smoothly at third base, showing his athleticism, but his arm was a bit short because of upper body stiffness. With his hands and feet, Wisnoski could become a very adept defensive first baseman if his arm strength doesn’t come around. He needs to work on flexability to allow his natural ability to take over. Josh could end up being a highest level college player. He is a good student.
