Craig is a 6-2, 220 lb senior right handed pitcher from Florida with a thick, burly build. He pitches from a low ¾’s to almost sidearm release point some cross body effect on his pitches. Craig’s arm stroke is short and quick and he does a good job of hiding the ball, which makes his fastball look quicker than the radar gun says it is. His fastball is also heavy and has good sinking and running action. Craig varied his fastball velocity between 74 and 80 mph and this helped in his effectiveness, as did the fast pace that he worked at. Craig’s breaking ball was 61-62 and predictably loose and flat from that release point. He also threw a couple of 68 mph change ups.
