Kevin Dahlenburg is a 2006 second baseman/right handed pitcher from Linden, California, with an average frame, and lean build with room to add more strength. He shows a good spray contact approach from a slightly open stance, and balanced base. Dahlenburg uses the whole field, and will turn on the inside pitch when pitchers go there. He is a young switch hitter that still has some growing to do that will only add to his present ability. Dahlenburg has good balance, and agility on defense with soft hands, and an accurate arm. He also turns the double play quickly, and has the feet to maneuver himself well around the bag. Dahlenburg also got on the mound and topped out at 83 mph on his fastball, and 71 mph with his curveball. He's a good prospect who shows athletic ability and running ability. Keep an eye on him! Kevin is a very good student.
