2004 West Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Kurt is a 2005 grad from Paraclete High School in the Santa Clarita area. He stands 6'0" 170 lbs with a slender frame and lean build. He projects very nicely. He shows you some good energy in the field. He has the ability to charge ground balls, stay balanced and make accurate throws. Kurt also showed some arm strength across the infield with a range of 75-79 mph with true carry. He has good hands and fluid infield actions to play the middle positions but needs added strength to enhance his offensive potential. Kurt also pitched a couple of innings and his arm strength carried over well. He topped out at 82 mph from a low 3/4's release point and also threw a 64 mph curveball and 66 mph change up. Kurt is a top notch student with interest in top level academic colleges.
