Luis Peguero is a 2005 outfielder/left handed pitcher from Rio Piedros PR with a live lean body at 5 ft. 8 150 pounds. He has a good load and good balance in his set up. He has a long sweeping swing and he tends to hit around the ball and cut himself off out front. He is more a contact hitter with not much power projection. He showed good athleticism with a 6.88 in the 60, and a 4.48 home to first. Defensively, he has some arm strength at 81 mph from the outfield. He show good range and gets a good read off the bat. On the mound, he has an easy arm action from a 3/4 slot. He lands wide open and doesn't get much behind the ball. He topped out at 80 mph. His curveball was 56-58 mph with slight break.
