Julian Escobedo is a 2011 OF/RHP with a 5'10'', 140 lb. frame from Apopka, FL who attends Apopka HS. Lean, athletic build. Square stance at the plate, balanced approach, mid-field contact, line drive swing, squares ball up well in BP. Good speed (6.76 sixty), covers ground, has arm strength in the OF. Also pitched, medium arm circle, good arm speed, ball comes clean out of hand, hides ball, arm works well, uses legs well, 12/6 curveball, lots of late spin. Good student, Named to Top Prospect team.
