Vincent Spilker is a 2009 RHP/ with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Raytown, MO who attends Raytown. Solid mature build. Easy delivery from the 3B side of the rubber, compact arm action from a high 3/4 slot, simple mechanics that he repeats well, works downhill. Overpowering fastball at any level, complimented well with good mid 70s curveball that has nice spin and good downer break. Mixed in changeup on occassion but looked comfortable working primarily with the fastball-curveball combination. Lost a couple mph from stretch, some minor mechanical flaws to clean up for pro ball but already possesses the stuff to be a very effective power arm out of the bullpen. Very impressive showing.

Vincent Spilker is a 2009 RHP/IF with a 6'3'', 215 lb. frame from Raytown, MO who attends Raytown HS. Muscular mature build, good proportions. Well paced delivery, accelerates at release, H 3/4's release, good leverage to the plate, arm works smoothly. Heavy FB with some late run/sink, touched 90 mph. Hard CB spin, 2 plane 11/7 shape, could throw CB harder/tends to slow arm, good feel for change up with late sink, repeats delivery well, mixes speeds well. Potential power arm with some feel for off speed. Signed with Johnson County CC.
