Omar Cotto is a 2010 OF/2B with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Bonneville School. Very athletic build, strong and loose. Outstanding runner, 6.32 60 in the cold. Raw OF footwork but good raw arm strength, speed/range an obvious plus, will improve with coaching. Switch hitter, better bat speed right handed, quick hands right handed, has some lift in swing, pull approach with extension out front, more of a calm Bob Abreu type swing left handed, best on pitches over the plate. Potential elite level athlete with high ceiling potential, should keep improving for a long time. Good student.
