2009 National Underclass Showcase - Session 1
Cody Miller is a 2011 RHP/1B with a 6'4'', 178 lb. frame from Westlake, OH who attends Padua Franciscan HS. Tall, slender profile pitcher's build. High leg kick, stays on line and balanced well, clean mechanics and arm action, high 3/4's release. Low 80's fastball topped at 83 mph, mostly straight, threw split finger change as primary off speed, good feel, occ hard diving action at the plate, potential plus pitch, only a couple CB's. Good command of FB/Split combination. Should continue to develop stuff/velocity. Good student.
