Aaron Varden is a 2013 OF/LHP with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Garland, TX who attends Prestonwood Christian Academy. Young athletic frame, good strength for age. 6.92 runner, good range, long arm action, good developing arm strength. No stride approach, hands way back, tends to pull off, some raw strength/bat speed but needs adjustments to shorten up/get directional on swing. Also pitched, extended high 3/4's release, arm works well, FB to 82 mph, flashes good CB spin, may have higher ceiling as LHP, still very young.
