Matthew Johnson: Johnson is a 6-1 right hander from Tampa with a strong, well developed lower half. He showed some arm strength on his fastball, touching 83 mph and pitching in the 78-81 mph range from a high ¾’s arm slot. Johnson’s secondary pitches need a little work. He slowed his arm and body on his 73 mph change up and lacked power and tight spin on his 63 mph curveball. He's an interesting pitching prospect who could really develop over the next few years.
