Samuel Smith is a 2011 RHP/ with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Lake Charles, LA who attends Barbe HS. Profile pitcher's build, very good present strength. OH release point, long extended arm action, gets out front on release, good downhill plane. Steady 85-87 mph velocity, occasional arm side run, maintains velocity, CB sharp and tight at 74 mph, some fade on change up. Strong potential to keep improving, follow closely. Very good student.
