2010 South Top Prospect Showcase
Kevin Cornelius is a 2011 SS with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Weatherford, TX who attends Weatherford HS. Nice athletic build, some developing strength. 7.14 runner, very good hands defensively, quick exchange, stays balanced, throws carry well, solid overall defender. Wide base hitting, smooth easy swing, hands work well to the ball, can get long at times, inconsistent swing path, tends to get out front early, shows raw strength/power potential at times. Good approach to the game, should keep improving. Excellent student.
