Dertouzos is an "04" catcher. At 5'8/165 he is not the biggest but he has a solid lower body and strength. He popped right at 2 flat in Wareham and showed a strong arm with 75 mph velocity. He is good behind the plate, moves well and blocks balls very well. At the plate he showed a nice line drive producing swing. He was well balanced and finished his swing. He hit a ball hard to the opposite field against one of the top pitchers in Wareham. Michael is a very good student.
