Mike Fournier is a 2006 right handed pitcher from Fairfield, Connecticut, with a strong 5'10"/175 pound frame. Fournier pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action. He has a quick arm and uses minimal effort in his delivery. Mike has a balanced delivery that stays online and he has solid mechanics. He showed very good command of his pitches and does a good job keeping his fastball down in the zone. Fournier has natural cut on his fastball at 77 mph and gets glove side life against right handed hitters. He also showed an 11-5 breaking slider at 69 mph. Mike is a competitor on the mound and is a good student.
