JD Andreessen is a 2014 C/MIF, 3B, OF, RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Depew, NY who attends St Mary's of Lancaster. Medium frame, strong build. Had a big showing with the bat, good pullside power. Homered to left field against one of the top pitchers in attendance, also homered in BP. Uses lower half well in swing, strong at contact, long swing to generate good bat speed, big aggressive hacks with intent, deep hand load, approach worked well in games, hit velocity well, all fields in BP. Good carry on throws behind the plate, strong arm, showed some range at 3B as well. Very good student.
