Austin Cordova is a 5'9" 140 pound 2007 infielder from Redlands, California who has a small frame and an athletic lean build with room to fill out still. He has very quick agile actions and has the athletic ability to turn the double play with a short online release to his throws. Austin has good mobility and sure hands which allow him to handle the in between hops. At the plate, Cordova hits with an open stance and crouches down with an average base. He has good bat control and uses all fields very well. He is a top of the order type hitter who has the ability to get on base. Austin is a good student with a 3.2 gpa.
