Jake Sotir is a 2010 RHP/1B with a 5'11'', 170 lb. frame from Northborough, MA who attends Algonquin Regional HS. Lean athletic body. Compact arm action, high 3/4's slot, some effort on release. FB topped at 78 mph, good arm side run, CB has tight spin and good bite, nice fade on change up. Mixes pitches well, repeats delivery/release point on all pitches. Showed some hitting ability, good bat speed, consistent hard line drive contact, looks to pull. Hustling type player, very good approach to the game. Outstanding student.
