Christopher Burns is a 2012 C/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Cherry Hill, NJ who attends Holy Cross High School. Athletic build with strength. Very good receiver. Good athlete behind the plate who blocked well and made nice play on pop-up during game. Clean catch and transfer, quick actions. Throws had very good velocity with online carry. Solid, line drive swing path at the plate. Made contact easily with good exit off the bat. Strong batting practice and continued hitting in games. Looks to pull the ball and is long to it at times. Has strength and idea at the plate. Good receiver and bat with potential. Good student.
