Ryan Burr is a 2012 RHP with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Highlands Ranch HS. Big square shouldered physical build, plus present strength. Leg raise delivery, throws shoulders back, high elbows, some wrap in arm circle but works through it early, arm comes through clean and on time. Steady 91-93 mph fastball, ball gets on hitters quickly, consistent late swings on FB, has deception. Big deep curveball with sharp 11/5 bite, potential plus pitch, rare change up that still needs developing. Tends to fall off and overthrow at times and misses glove side. 6 strikeouts in 2 innings pitched, no contest. Resembles Astros RHP Brett Myers at same age. Good student, verbally committed to Arizona State. Named to the Perfect Game All American Classic team.
