Luis Pacheco-Pares is a 2011 LHP/1B with a 6'2'', 190 lb. frame from Trujillo Alto, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy & High School. Big strong frame, thick through hips and lower half, smooth mechanically on mound, methodical, works strike zone with FB, gets good spin on CB and will improve with increased velocity, also mixes in CH with proper arm action. Hands and feet work around the bag at 1B, good target, moves well coming in. Projectable body at the plate, very simple swing for size, good barrel contact, good opposite field contact but can turn on it on the inner half as well.
